The government has now launched the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund incentive, providing cash back for eligible measures of up to £1000 for two measures including condensing gas boilers, fan assisted storage heaters, flue gas heat recovery unit, replacement warm air unit, waste water heat recovery, cavity wall insulation, flat roof insulation, floor insulation, room in roof insulation, double/triple glazing (replacing single glazing), secondary glazing or energy efficient replacement doors.
The fund could also provide up to 75% (maximum of £6000) toward the cost of internal or external solid wall insulation.
As well as this cash back, if householders have had a Green Deal Assessment Report completed on their property within the last 24 months, a refund of up to £100 could be claimed toward the cost of the assessment.
As a huge additional bonus, homeowners who have bought their home in the 12 months prior to the application can also apply to claim up to £7600 as a bundled package.
To be eligible, customers must apply for the voucher before the work starts and the measures being claimed for must be recommended on the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or the Green Deal Assessment Report (GDAR) carried out in the last 12 months.
Customers claiming ECO or other central government funding aren’t eligible but the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund is designed to work alongside Green Deal finance, making the cost of the measures required more manageable.
Broadoak are fully registered to offer these cash back schemes and are able to install all of the measures required. For more information, advice and a free no obligation survey, contact Broadoak today!!
